Samba Soccer

I got the inspiration for this character when I heard "Samba de Janeiro" by Bellini.

Name: Samba Soccer

Species: Earth pony

CM: Soccerball that has a reflective surface like a discoball

Job: Soccer player/dancer

Personality: Sporty, rhythmic, motivational, romantic and tactical. She's also a bad loser, a bit paranoid when it comes to loss and humiliation, a tad stubborn and somewhat violent at times.

Bio: Samba was raised on two different principles: Her father wanted her to play soccer, while her mother wanted her to dance. Samba was torn between their wishes and decided to pursue both. To her surprise, she discovered a satisfying rhythm to it all, and found both activities fun and enjoyable. Today, she is a soccer player at day, and a dancer at night.

She developed a love for discos, and usually becomes the center of attention - both good and bad. She has been kicked out from some discos because she started fighting with the other guests, but no matter how many times this has happened, she does not let it get her down.

That is not what can be said about her will to win. She likes the thought that she is a very talented player/dancer who wins every match/dance contest, but the thought of losing has honestly made her consider cheating as an acceptable course of action.

Whenever she isn't playing or dancing, she enjoys the smaller things in life: cider, music, food, nature. She finds it soothing and relaxing, and a way for her to accept that winning isn't everything. The only problem is that that philosophy has yet to stick when she's out on the field.
